Design and production
How it all began
The story began in the forests of Värmland and then made its way out across the whole world.
Mojo Furniture is part of PMA Furniture Design. PMA is a Swedish family-owned furniture company that was founded approximately 35 years ago by Maria Lengstrand's parents. With a compelling drive and a strong passion for design and furniture making, PMA embarked on its journey within the furniture industry.
Initially, they manufactured joinery for boat interiors but quickly expanded to offer complete interior design solutions for retail chains, restaurants, and hotels. Alongside work in the public sector, their own furniture range was developed, based on Scandinavian design traditions and inspired by contemporary global influences.
Today, we offer furniture series for every space in your home; the living room, dining area, hallway, or bedroom. We strive to create furniture that not only serves a function but also adds character and beauty to each room. With a passion for design and craftsmanship, we combine classic materials with modern details to create products that stand the test of time.
own manufacture
Control all the way from idea to finished product
To ensure a cost-effective and sustainable supply chain covering technical development, procurement, production, quality control, and shipping, we manufacture our furniture in our wholly-owned factory. This gives us full control over the entire development and production process, from design to finished product.
Since 2010, the factory has been established in a province just outside Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam. The production facility is equipped with modern machinery to guarantee high quality and efficiency, ensuring a consistent and high standard for our products.
We are actively working towards environmental sustainability by using FSC-certified wood in accordance with EUDR regulations and are progressively introducing sustainable materials into production. For example, we utilise locally produced tung oil from forests certified for sustainable forestry in Vietnam.
Social responsibility
For us, it is important to take responsibility for and create a socially responsible and safe working environment for all employees working at our production facility. We are careful to offer a working environment where every employee feels valued and safe.
We are proud to be SMETA certified, which means we follow best practices in working conditions, safety, and sustainability, and that we continuously work to improve our working conditions and minimise our environmental impact.
PMA Furniture Sweden's office houses a dedicated team of 18 employees, where each person contributes their expertise across several key departments.
The technical department, comprising five experienced specialists, plays a key role in product development and technical support. The finance team ensures stable financial processes and accurate reporting. In customer service, two dedicated employees work closely with our customers to provide prompt and reliable support. The office also includes an HR manager focused on supporting staff and maintaining a positive working environment.
The General Manager leads the company's strategic direction and daily operations, with a focus on quality, teamwork and long-term development.
Furthermore, the Supply Chain team consists of six employees working in warehousing, purchasing, and planning to ensure efficient material flow, accurate procurement, and well-coordinated production schedules.
Across all departments, high competence, commitment, and a genuinely positive spirit characterise the workplace. The team works closely together, creating an environment where professionalism and good energy go hand in hand.
