Wood is a natural and porous material that continues to absorb and release moisture throughout its lifetime, causing it to expand and contract over time. Variations in wood grain, structure, colour, knots, and other natural characteristics are part of its character and are considered a natural part of the furniture's expression.<\/p>

Avoid placing hot or cold objects directly on the surface. We recommend using placemats, tablecloths, trivets, and the like. Do not place the furniture in direct sunlight, as this can affect the colour of the wood. Also, avoid exposing the wood to the elements, and do not place it near air conditioning or heat sources.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

We recommend that all spills are wiped up immediately to avoid discolouration of the wood. Superficial scratches or stubborn stains can be removed with extra-fine sandpaper. Clean the surface before you start sanding. Sand gently in the direction of the wood grain. Please note that this may remove the top layer of finish, depending on the furniture's finish. The surface can be restored with, for example, Osmo Top Oil Natural (3068). Veneer is a very thin layer of real wood, produced by slicing a solid piece of wood rather than sawing it. This method produces less waste than solid wood and allows for a more sustainable use of natural resources.

As veneer is still natural wood, it retains the unique characteristics of the tree it came from. Variations in grain, texture, colour and knots are natural features of the material and are considered
as part of its beauty. Two colour panels are never exactly the same.

Cracks, stains and other minor changes that occur through normal domestic use, or from exposure to moisture or heat, are considered normal wear and tear and are not covered by the warranty. Damage resulting from lack of care, incorrect use or lack of protection (such as not using coasters or placemats) is the owner's responsibility. Always follow these care instructions to extend the lifespan of your veneer furniture.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Always use placemats and coasters. Veneered surfaces are particularly sensitive to heat, moisture, and scratches. Placemats should be used under plates, and coasters under cups and glasses, to protect against stains, cracks, and heat rings. Avoid direct heat and moisture. Hot plates, mugs, and saucepans can damage veneer immediately. Spills should be wiped up immediately to prevent discolouration or swelling.

When cleaning, use a clean, soft cloth wrung out in lukewarm water. Then, dry immediately with a dry, soft cloth. Never use abrasive sponges, strong cleaning agents, polish sprays or chemical cleaning products \u2013 these can damage the surface finish.

Dust regularly with a dry, lint-free cloth to prevent particles from accumulating and causing scratches. Like all wood products, veneer can fade or discolour with prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Minor cracks, fine crazing and superficial marks may occur over time with daily use. These are considered normal and are not signs of material defects. Always place the table on a level surface to avoid stress on the veneer. Avoid dragging objects (such as vases, bowls or laptops) across the table's surface.
Veneer is sensitive to changes in temperature and moisture. Extremely dry or humid environments can cause movement or small cracks.
